Why?

We all sit in our lives reasonably content in the main and sadly have our moods, if you're a man affected by the media. Well I'm sick of the nonsense we have to endure and this is my answer to it.

MY SIDE OF THE NEWS

...is my way of saying what I want to say without my poor wife having to listen, and having to remind me that the television can't hear me. It also means that reading the newspaper, instead of raising my heart rate will become a source of scorn, ridicule and contempt...perfect content for this blog.

I start with getting this off my chest. BBC news has got reporters all over Spain checking the reactions of the Spanish population after winning the world cup.

This is going to be expensive because here in the UK we're still going on about the cup we won in 1966.

Anyway what do the BBC and its viewers really think is happening all over Spain...having corn flakes and washing their cars.

Question: What's the point of this news coverage?
